Successful first night of catching!

Found Photinus pyralis (j’s) and Photinus australis in Salisbury, NC. I’ve never caught fireflies in a thunderstorm before. Weird to have lightning flashing and fireflies flashing….and then THE RAIN!!! No more fireflies after that. Also, near where we caught there is a park with bears, a carousel, and a petting zoo. Can’t beat that.
